Finishing his certificate 4 at ACMUSE in 2012, he had already made moves within the industry working at Mecca, making his way through management and different colour specialist positions before going completely freelance in 2019.

Hitting the ground running, Alex assisted a handful of Sydneys best Makeup Artists getting to experience the creation of magazine covers for Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Elle. With international talent like Bella Hadid and Australian talent, Jessica Mauboy.

Since then he has worked internationally in London, Los Angeles and Italy. Working at Coachella on three occasions, events at Buckingham Palace and an incredible wedding in Lake Como.

He has always enjoyed the dichotomy of his profession, working on events, weddings, shoots, celebrities and often all at once to keep it interesting.

Alex truly feels at home and knows this is right where he is supposed to be. He see’s makeup as so much more than just makeup.
